I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Department of Orthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry at King Abdulaziz University. Our faculty and staff are committed to providing a high level of excellence in teaching, scientific research and community service in the field of orthodontics. The department teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
At the undergraduate level, the department teaches the curriculum to fifth and sixth year students, through which the foundations of diagnosis are taught in orthodontics. For postgraduate studies, the department teaches master's and board students in orthodontics. Enrolment in the doctoral program will begin this coming year, God willing. The faculty consists of more than 15 faculty members, most of them PhD holders.

Dr. Fahad Faiz Sulaimani
I am Fahad Faiz Alsulaimani associate professor at king Abdul-Aziz university faculty of dentistry preventive dental department orthodontic division.
I have graduated from king Saud university college of dentistry in 1990 and joined king Abdul-Aziz university orthodontic division in 1992 . I have attended Tufts university in Boston Mass. For the orthodontic training and master degree which o obtained in 1996 in addition I have a fellowship in orofacial pain from the same university in 1997. after that I have completed a doctorate degree (DSc.) in oral biology from Boston university Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
I joined the orthodontic division in year 2000, and pointed the chairman of restorative dental department in year 2001-2003. I have pointed the head of orthodontic division from 2003-2007in addition was the president of Saudi orthodontic club till 2007. currently I am associate professor in orthodontic division. My research and clinical interest is cleft lip and palate and facial deformities and syndrome patients to gather with orthogenetic surgery.
